MAY 2025 PARTNER LETTER

Prophesy to your life!

(Isaiah 40:31 NKJV) But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Dear NCTC Partners,

In this May Partner Letter, I want to share on the theme: “Prophesy to the Dry Bones!”

On the Day of Pentecost, after the Holy Spirit came upon the believers, Peter quoted the prophet Joel:

(Acts 2:17–18 (NKJV))
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.’

As a result of the outpouring of the Spirit on all flesh, it says sons and daughters shall prophesy.

Often we think of prophecy only as foretelling—predicting future events. But the word also means forthtelling—declaring God's heart and thoughts over situations and circumstances.

And as believers who have received the Holy Spirit, we are all able to prophesy over our own lives.

Let us study Ezekiel 37 together and discover how this works in our lives.

Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.
3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”

Ezekiel faced a hopeless situation—valleys filled with very dry bones, devoid of any signs of life. When the Lord asked, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel responded, “O Lord God, You know.”

Often when we face hopeless or lifeless circumstances, we answer the same way:

“Lord, this is up to You. Only You know.”

But look closely at what God instructs Ezekiel to do in the next verses:

Ezekiel 37:4–8
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

The Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones—and when he obeyed and spoke the Word of the Lord, the bones began to move and connect.

This is different from traditional prayer. Instead of just asking God to do something, it is declaring God’s heart over a situation under the inspiration and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

And in the next verse, God even commands Ezekiel to prophesy to the breath—symbolizing the Holy Spirit:

Ezekiel 37:9–10
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ”
10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

“Prophesy to the breath... say to the breath...”

As Ezekiel prophesied to the breath, the breath entered them, and they came to life as a great army!

Here’s what we can learn from this powerful passage:
We can prophesy over our lives and situations under the inspiration of the Spirit.
We can even prophesy to the breath—to the Holy Spirit—declaring the Word of the Lord.

Therefore, as children of God filled with the Holy Spirit, we can speak prophetically over our lives, our circumstances, and our future.

Don’t just wait for someone else to prophesy to you. You can declare what God has impressed upon your heart—and as you do, your life will begin to align with the prophecy.

This May, I encourage you to set aside time in your personal prayer life for prophetic declarations. Here are a few simple steps to help you begin:

Step 1: Receive God’s impression.

Pray in tongues and declare Scripture. This aligns your thoughts with God’s Word and builds your faith. As your spirit becomes full and tuned to the Spirit, you become sensitive to His impressions.

Step 2: Receive His Word for your life.

This may come in the form of a specific Bible verse, or a strong impression aligned with Scripture. Once received, declare it out loud over your life and situation.

This is how you wield the sword of the Spirit—the rhema (spoken) word of God.

When you declare what God has impressed upon your heart, it becomes a prophetic utterance in the Spirit—and it brings powerful adjustments in the spiritual realm.

In my own life, I’ve seen many changes—past, present, and future—manifest as the fruit of prophetic declarations I have spoken over myself.

So, dear partners,
In the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, declare boldly with your mouth the Word of the Lord. Prophesy to your situation. Prophesy to your life!

(Isaiah 44:3 (NKJV))
For I will pour water on him who is thirsty,
And floods on the dry ground;
I will pour My Spirit on your descendants,
And My blessing on your offspring.

(Isaiah 32:15 (NKJV))
Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,
And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

The Lord promises to pour water on the thirsty and floods on the dry ground, to pour His Spirit on your descendants and His blessing on your offspring.

While praying for May, I received these two verses.
I bless you in Jesus’ name to take hold of them as prophetic declarations!

Prayer:

" I am praying for you.
Whatever area of your life feels like a wilderness (wilderness = fruitlessness, dryness, desolation)
I declare the Spirit of the Lord is being poured out on you.
And that wilderness is no longer a wilderness, but becomes a fruitful field!
And that fruitful field will be regarded as a forest— No longer barren, dry, or desolate,
but full of fruit and flourishing with the life and blessings of God.”

With blessings,
