AUGUST 2025 PARTNER LETTER
Downloading Wisdom from the Spirit of Wisdom
(1 Corinthians 2:12 NKJV) “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”
Dear NCTC Partners,
Greetings of love in this August Partner Letter.
In this month’s letter, I’d like to share with you a divine insight about receiving wisdom from the Holy Spirit who dwells in our spirit.
If the greatest gift God has given to all humanity is salvation through Jesus Christ, then the greatest gift He has given to His born-again children after salvation is undoubtedly the Holy Spirit. Concerning this Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul writes:
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God" (1 Corinthians 2:12, NKJV).
There is an incredible inheritance that God has freely given to us—His new creations—through salvation. But because this inheritance is provided in the spiritual realm, it cannot be understood by human wisdom. This amazing inheritance can only be recognized, experienced, and enjoyed through revealed knowledge.
That is why the Apostle Paul prayed that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened through the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.
"17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power" (Ephesians 1:17–19, NKJV).
From this prayer, we learn how to know the things freely given to us by God:
The Spirit of wisdom and revelation must enlighten the eyes of our understanding.
When spiritual revelation opens up, we understand the divine destiny (hope of His calling) to which God has called us.
We comprehend the riches of the glory of the inheritance that belongs to the new creation.
We realize how great the power of God is, which is working in those who believe.
The hope of our calling (vision and purpose), the glorious inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power are all freely provided to every believer. However, the degree to which we experience and walk in these depends on how much we engage with the ministry of the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Therefore, we must receive wisdom (revelation—spiritual insight) from the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom. More specifically, “You must download spiritual wisdom from the Spirit of wisdom who dwells in your spirit into your soul.”
Jesus also revealed the limits of spiritual communication to His disciples who had not yet received the Holy Spirit:
"12 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you" (John 16:12–15, NKJV).
Jesus had many spiritual truths to share, but the disciples could not bear them, as they were spiritual realities that can only be revealed by the Holy Spirit. These spiritual truths, revealed by the Spirit, are what we call wisdom (knowing things to come, understanding the deep things of God).
Paul also writes: "6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him'" (1 Corinthians 2:6–9, NKJV).
Did you know there is a hidden wisdom God ordained before the ages for your glory? This is not the wisdom of the world, but the hidden wisdom of God. Isaiah prophesied that such wisdom had never entered the hearts of men. But for us who have received the Holy Spirit, this wisdom has now entered into our spirit!
"10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God" (1 Corinthians 2:10–12, NKJV).
The things God has freely given us are the hidden wisdom ordained for our glory before the foundation of the world.
"13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For 'who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?' But we have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians 2:13–16, NKJV).
Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit, our personal Teacher, dwells in us to teach us the hidden wisdom of God.
How then do we download this hidden wisdom from our spirit into our soul and physical realm? We need to understand through which channel the Holy Spirit speaks to us and gives us revelation knowledge.
“The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart” (Proverbs 20:27). “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16).
The Holy Spirit does not speak through the body or soul but communicates through the human spirit.
That’s why when we pray in tongues, we can download God’s wisdom—because praying in tongues is our spirit praying as it receives and speaks out the mysterious utterances given by the Holy Spirit.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4, NKJV).
“For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful" (1 Corinthians 14:14).
Therefore, the purpose of praying in tongues is not simply to say we prayed, but to allow the hidden wisdom in our spirit to be downloaded into our soul by yielding ourselves to the Holy Spirit. Just like water reaches boiling point with sufficient heat, when we give enough time to pray in tongues, we reach a spiritual "boiling point" where the thoughts influenced by the flesh are set aside, and the revelations of the Spirit begin to flow.
Through this channel—your spirit—we can receive visions, revelations, and spiritual insight—even mysteries from God that words cannot express. Like something rising from underwater to the surface, these spiritual revelations will come up from your spirit to your soul, and that is how we download wisdom from the Holy Spirit into our mind.
Years ago, when I began to deeply engage in praying in tongues, I started to receive downloads of hidden wisdom and mysteries into my soul. I will never forget how scriptures I had memorized for years suddenly became alive with revelation. When wisdom is revealed by the Spirit, it does not remain just information—it becomes transformational power. I began to receive downloads about my calling, the riches of my inheritance as a new creation, and the greatness of the power at work in me. From then on, I no longer lived a cycle of stagnant religious life but stepped into a life of spiritual power and revelation, fulfilling my calling, expanding God's Kingdom, and crushing the enemy’s works.
So, dear partners, I bless you this August to receive divine downloads of wisdom as you depend on the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. This wisdom will show you things to come, prepare you for your calling, guide you to your next level, bring favor and success, and lead you to the people, places, and events God has prepared for you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I pray for every partner who has sown seeds of love into NCTC.
May the Spirit of wisdom and revelation enlighten the eyes of their heart,
so that they may see the destiny You’ve called them to and the things to come.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of wisdom, lead them into the abundant provision
prepared and written in the Book of Life since before the foundation of the world.
Send the resources and people they need for their divine destiny.
Take them to the next level and next dimension.
I declare that the grace of increase working in this ministry
shall overflow into their lives and households.
Thank You for giving seed to the sower and bread for food.
I believe and thank You for prospering every seed they’ve sown,
so that they may reap a great harvest of righteousness.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
With blessings,
John K. Cho & Paula Kim
